Digital sculpturing in 3D software
An exploration of artistic practice in the year 2040
Wang & Söderström is an art and design practise creating mind-tickling experiences through materiality and technology. With this artwork the duo has looked into how, with technology’s increasing role in our lives, the challenge for art and culture lies in determining ways to combine technological advancements with fundamental sensual qualities — questioning, ultimately, whether mixed realities could evoke new human senses.

Jeppe Lange is a video artist and a conceptual documentarist. His practice revolves around perception and contemporary aesthetic conditions.
“Artificial Associations” exposes how artificial intelligence perceives the world and exhibits how associative arbitrariness is at play in translation of reality. The visual development is based on the perceptional misunderstandings that happen in the AI’s reading of the image material as the amount of information dissolves the details of the individual picture and sound. The work reveals the mechanics of non-human associations, and poses simultaneously as an analogy on organic transformation and the flexible reality of any moving nature or thing – naturally or artificially generated.
