Distortion’s Free Havnefest is back on Friday, June 6th, bringing 15 exciting events to Copenhagen’s harbor.
From 16.00 - 22.00 you can enjoy a range of festive experiences across the waterfront, including silent disco at @reffen_copenhagenstreetfood with 3 djs, Waterfest featuring a diving competition and the popular “DM i Maveplasker,” Daily Dak’s 10-year anniversary celebration, and the @movia.dk Havnebus Boogie with DJ ¡HARTY!
Some events will continue until 23:00, and afterward, the party continues at Refshaleøen.

Øens Have is back, and this year, they’re opening the season together with our new neighbours at @fungafarm. Join them for a festive day in the garden on Friday, May 2nd from 16:00 to 01:00.
There’ll be live music, DJ sets, seasonal food, fresh oysters (the first 75 are free 🦪 ✨), cold drinks from Kølsters, garden tours, and plenty of family-friendly activities early in the evening.

✨🎩 Step into a monstrous universe at Copenhagen Contemporary!
Monster Chetwynd’s vibrant total installation “A Feather in Your Hat!” transforms the CC Create area into a fantastical playground filled with hats, masks, and magical creatures – perfect for both kids and adults.
Here, one can create their own hats and costumes, explore labyrinths and sculptural installations, unleash creativity in hands-on workshops, and become part of the artwork.
The exhibition runs until August 16, 2026.

Join Performing Landscapes Copenhagen 🌿 ✨
Over two weekends in May (9-11 & 16-18), 30 artists take over Refshaleøen with performances, rituals, workshops, sound walks, and more - exploring the role of art in a time of ecological crisis.
Set in Refshaleøens raw, rewilding landscape, the festival invites you to slow down, connect, and experience new ways of being in the world. Drop in for a single event or follow the full journey.
Tickets are 100 DKK (incl. food and drinks). All performances are free.

Final days of Ghost Flower Ritual at Copenhagen Contemporary.
Step into a living ritual of flower spirits, biodiversity crisis, and alchemical transformation - where sculpture, sound, costume, and performance merge in one dreamlike total installation.
Created by visual artist @cecilia_fiona, composer @sophiesoesmeyer, and performed live by @athelas_cph, Denmark’s leading ensemble for new music. Remaining performances:

On Tuesday, @oenshave kicked off the summer season with its first volunteer day this year - and it couldn’t have started on a sunnier note. With t-shirt weather and springtime vibes, the day was full of energy and good spirits.
From now until autumn, volunteer days happen every Tuesday from 10 AM to 5 PM. You’ll have the chance to get involved in gardening, small building projects, composting, and other hands-on tasks around the garden.
In return, you’ll get plenty of fresh air, a delicious (and free!) communal lunch with coffee, maybe a few sore muscles, and, most importantly, the opportunity to meet great new people.
