Angels & Angels, a unique association and exhibition venue located by Refshaleøens Tørdocken, debuted as a temporary project in 2019. Created and managed by architecture students from @kglakademi, it serves as a dynamic platform for showcasing architectural models, hosting talks, and organizing events. Designed as a hub for architectural and spatial projects, Angels & Angels encourages dialogue on pressing themes such as climate awareness, social sustainability, and the ever-evolving role of architecture.

🎥✨ Experience the final days of the 60Seconds Festival at Refshaleøen, where cinema transcends words. This year’s theme, “I Cry, and I Cry,” explores the depth of human emotion through powerful, silent short films, running until November 24th.
Each evening, as night falls, the façade of Copenhagen Contemporary becomes a canvas for these thought-provoking one-minute narratives. Through light and shadow, they delve into themes of empathy, frustration, and powerlessness, evoking reflection and connection.
Visit any evening from 4:00 PM to midnight and let these luminous fragments of storytelling illuminate the November darkness.

Step into a sparkling skating experience, open Thursday through Sunday in the heart of @reffen_copenhagenstreetfood. Glide across 1,450 square meters of shimmering ice, illuminated by lights and music that brighten up the winter nights. With two rinks - including one designed just for young skaters - there’s something for everyone.
The season’s lineup is packed with live concerts, weekend markets, immersive exhibitions, creative workshops, and endless skating fun, with fresh events announced regularly. Treat yourself to street food delights, cozy up with warm drinks, and explore handcrafted treasures from local artisans around the island.

〰️ Introducing Refshaleøen’s New Floating Sauna 〰️
Opened at the start of the month, the sauna has been established in collaboration with Copenwater, Københavns Kommune, and Refshaleøens Ejendomsselskab in response to the growing demand among Copenhageners for more sauna facilities along the harbor. Open from October through May, this electric-powered sauna offers the blend of soothing heat therapy and invigorating dips in Søndre Refshalebassin’s bathing zone, comfortably accommodating 10-12 guests at a time.

Last Friday, Refshaleøen’s S2 building became a captivating backdrop for Culture Night (@kulturnatten), an evening of exploration and artistry. From striking light installations, interactive art, atmospheric laser shows, and live performances, with gourmet street food and pop-up bars the night was a true celebration of creativity and memorable experiences.

CULTURENIGHT AT REFSHALEØEN
On Friday, October 11th, during @kulturnatten, you are invited to wander along an illuminated path and discover several unique locations on the island after dark.
The grand B&W Hall will open its doors for a spectacular light and sound experience created by the artistic duo Båll & Brand. As you explore the island, you will also encounter photography, culinary delights, and handcrafted art in various halls, loft studios, and industrial containers.
Visit Scandinavia’s largest urban farm and the city’s tallest climbing walls, or find your balance while enjoying a stunning view of the city skyline on a slackline.
